KEYSEL BESA

Student-at-Law

Keysel Besa recently joined Maurice Law as one of its new articling students. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta Faculty of Law, where he developed an interest in Aboriginal law, administrative law, and constitutional law. While in law school, Keysel volunteered with the Student Legal Services Criminal Law Project, assisting individuals who might not otherwise have access to legal representation. He also led a student organization that hosted public discussions on public law, featuring speakers from the bench and the legal academy. He is particularly committed to legal issues affecting Indigenous peoples and is eager to contribute to Maurice Law’s work of advancing Indigenous rights through legal advocacy.
