With a legal career spanning more than four decades, Rob brings unmatched depth and versatility to his practice, with a focus on Immigration Law, Indigenous and Constitutional Law, and Appeal Advocacy. Having appeared at all levels of court, including the Alberta Court of Appeal and an impressive 27 times before the Supreme Court of Canada, Rob is a seasoned advocate known for delivering strategic, principled, and effective representation.

His previous roles include senior legal counsel with Alberta Justice, where he was twice awarded the Premier’s Award of Excellence, and a key legal representative in historic constitutional and Indigenous negotiations leading to the Charlottetown Accord.

In his Indigenous and constitutional law practice, Rob advises on Aboriginal and Treaty rights, Charter litigation, and division of powers issues. His work is grounded in a deep respect for human rights and justice, reflected in his pro bono advocacy for Palestinian Canadians and his long-standing involvement in Amnesty International, where he serves as a local chapter director.
