Student-at-Law
Madison recently joined Maurice Law as a Student-at-Law. As a student, Madison will be learning about the advancement of Specific Claims and contributing to the firm’s litigation team.
During her legal studies at the Université de Moncton, Madison demonstrated a strong commitment to Indigenous issues and public service. She contributed to community-based legal research through Pro Bono Students Canada, focusing on matters affecting Indigenous communities. Madison was also instrumental in founding the university’s Indigenous Student Council, which promotes Indigenous knowledge and perspectives across campus. Madison further enriched her legal education by participating in the Immigration, Refugee, and Citizenship Law Moot held in Toronto, where she sharpened her advocacy and litigation skills.
Madison is of both Metis and Indigenous ancestry and is a member of Pinaymootang First Nation.
