MELANIE WEBBER
Associate Managing Partner
As a member of Maurice Law’s Partnership Team, Melanie is Associate Managing Partner. In this role, she works closely with the firm’s Partners and Management Team to ensure that operations remain aligned with Maurice Law’s commitment to exceptional client service and long-term relationship building.
Melanie plays a key role in developing and implementing policies and initiatives that enhance the firm’s operational efficiency and client engagement, including ongoing client communication, as well as internal firm development, which strengthens the firm’s ability to deliver best-in-class legal services.
When not attending to firm management, Melanie’s practice focuses on the litigation and negotiation of Specific Claims, and on Trusts and Wealth Creation. Melanie represents several First Nations in on-going negotiations with the Government of Canada, and in several Specific Claims Tribunal matters. Melanie has also advised First Nations on commercial transactions, and the development of Trust Agreements and associated governance needs. Melanie’s strong attention to detail enables her to give effective and clear advice to Maurice Law clients.
