Boritse was called to the Alberta Bar in 2020 and joined Maurice Law as an associate in 2022. Before joining the firm, Boritse was in active private law practice in Alberta and was a legal researcher at a legal research institute in Alberta. Boritse completed her Bachelor of Laws at the University of Lagos in 2013 and worked as counsel in a leading international law firm’s corporate & commercial law group. She completed a Master of Laws with a specialization in Energy and Environmental Law at the University of Calgary in 2019. As part of her Master of Laws, Boritse authored a comparative thesis on gas flaring. This thesis analyzed domestic and international environmental law focusing on environmental ethics, environmental impact assessment, low carbon development, national determined contribution (NDC), sustainability and climate change.
