Shane Varjassy

Born and raised in Yorkton, Shane completed his Juris Doctor at the University of Saskatchewan in 2021. He spent a year articling with a firm in Saskatoon before being called to the Saskatchewan Bar and joining Maurice Law as an Associate in 2022. During his legal his studies, Shane took an interest in Tax Law, Administrative Law, and Civil Litigation. He also volunteered and worked for Community Legal Assistance Services for Saskatoon Inner City Inc. (CLASSIC), where he was part of a team providing free legal services to individuals experiencing poverty and injustice. During his time at CLASSIC, Shane represented clients in front of administrative tribunals such as the Office of Residential Tenancies, Immigration and Refugee Board, and Saskatchewan Human Rights Commission. Outside of practicing law, Shane has a black belt in taekwondo and is an avid football fan.”
